Join professional trapper Ross Hinter to learn and experience the life and skills of a modern day trapline.

The line consists of 127 square miles of divers boreal forest, a "northern" forest of mixed species, both deciduous and coniferous. This provides for a rich array of fur bearing species including weasel (ermine), mink, muskrat, beaver, marten, fisher, fox, coyote, wolf, lynx, river otter, and red squirrel. This region also includes a plentiful supply of other mammals, whitetail and mule deer, elk, moose, and bear.

In joining in on the trap line, you may learn any or all of the following:

The normal winter travel will be by snowmachine (ski-doo). Accomodations are small, heated, rustic cabins, with the possibility of wall tents in spike camps.

All meals are provided. Please let us know of any dietary concerns or allergies.
